Danny Bryant Obituary
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me
to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still
waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou
art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou
preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and

Mr. Danny Lewis Bryant Sr., the son of the late Mr.
Eddie Bryant and Hazel Bryant, was born October 2, 1958.
An angel from Heaven came Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was a loving, faithful, dedicated husband and father
and a member of St. James Methodist Church. Danny was
also a member of The National Teachers Association and
a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Inc. Fraternity.
He attended the public schools and graduated Lake
City High School in the class of 1975. Danny continued
his education and was a graduate of South Carolina State
University, in which he pursued a career in teaching. He
was also a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a
Masters Degree. He was employed with the Williamsburg
County School District as a Teacher and Math Coordinator.
Danny was joined in holy matrimony to Hazel
McFadden and they were blessed with two children.
Danny leaves to mourn: his wife, Hazel Bryant;
children: Danny Bryant Jr. and Shekia Bryant; one sister,
Ms. Hazel Epps; one brother, Mr. Heyward Bryant; two
brothers-in-law: Mr. Daniel (Sherry) McFadden of West
Palm Beach, FL and Mr. Barry Eaddy of Columbia, SC;
sisters-in-law: Ms. Jacquline (Johnathan) McFadden, Ms.
Amanda (Ulysees) Porter and Ms. Rita Wilson all of Lake
City, SC, Ms. Lemona Hickson and Ms. Frances McGill
both of Florence, SC; special Aunt, Mrs. Yvonne Hannah
of Lake City, SC; special friends, Mr. Leroy (Beverly)
Campbell and Jimmy Miller both of Kingstree, SC; and a
host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
