Donice Latrell Gamble-Majors, of Lake City, SC
slipped into eternal rest on Monday, November 1, 2021 in
Lake City, South Carolina. Donice, the daughter of the
late Oscar Gambler Jr., and the late Francis Singletary-
Gamble was born on June 16, 1959 in Florence County
South Carolina. She was preceded in death by a sister,
Betty Willis and a brother, Lathay Godwin.
Donice was the loving wife of Randolph Majors for 26
years and was dedicated to the care of her family. Donice
was a skilled business woman and had impeccable love for
people. When she was not working on a project at work
she was spending time cooking her favorite foods and
enjoying her free time with rest, relaxation and socializing
with loved ones who would often stop by.
Donice was a graduate of Lake City High School, Lake
City, SC and a proud member of the Class of 1976.
Donice leaves to forever cherish her memories: four
loving and supporting daughters: Shannon Majors
(Ronnie) Burr of Lake City, SC, Randrea (Harry)
Graham of Charleston, SC, Adreka Majors (Andre)
Romero of Charleston, SC and Latrell (Darian) Epps of
Summerville, SC. She has a loving brother, whom she
adored, Oscar (Bettie) Gamble III. Donice cherished
her ten grandchildren: Chazz, Kyah, Dae Jera, Aleesha,
Aedrick, Audreyanna, Randolph, Diani, Olivia, Jisaiah
& Ethan. She was also blessed to welcome and cuddle,
one great-grand child, Aurora Faith. Two uncles: Rev.
Herbert Gamble Sr., & Warren Singletary. Three Aunts:
Carolyn Gamble, Mary Lou Gamble & Sylvia McGill; play
sisters: Thurstine Singletary, Leolla Mae Carr and Mary B.
Williams.
She will be sincerely missed by those who were blessed
to have known her, including a host of beloved nieces,
nephews, cousins and beloved family members and friends,
especially the LCHS Class of 1976.
