On September 9, 2022; Friday morning at MUSC in Florence, SC; God
summoned the soul of His servant, Mrs. Ella Marie Epps from labor to reward.
Ella, affectionately known as “Ellaree,” daughter of the late Albert Isaiah Pringle
and late Hallie Mae S. Pringle was born July 11, 1956, in Florence
County, SC. She completed her formal education at Lake City High School and
graduated in 1975.
In her youth, Ellaree joined Ninevnah United Methodist Church, where she
attended until she married the love of her life, Rogers Epps and later joined Piney
Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior.
This union was blessed with five children, two children preceded her in death:
Shander and Rodney Epps. Ellaree was employed with Sav-way Food Store for 37
years where she worked as a cook in the kitchen. She was known as the chicken
lady that fried the best chicken at Sav-Way. Ellaree enjoyed her job at Sav-Way,
she was a loyal and dedicated employee for many years until her health began to
fail.
Ellaree as she was affectionately called by family and friends left a void in the
hearts of those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert
Isaiah Pringle and Hallie Mae S. Pringle ; two sisters: Rutha Mae Pringle
and Fredrey Ann Cooper; two brothers Joseph Pringle and Russell Flowers.
Those remain to cherish her memories and to grow from her unconditional love.
A loving devoted husband Roger Epps of the home; two caring sons, Roger Bernard Epps
of Florence, SC and Terrance (Carla) Epps of Kingstree, SC; one devoted
daughter Lakeisha Epps of Lake City; Two devoted granddaughter's
Jasmine Epps and Khadajah Epps and one devoted grandson Malik Johnson of Lake City SC whom she raised in the home. Additional grandchildren: Tyrek,
Bre’Anna, V’kayla, Myasia, Santana, Aria, Arius, Avery, Mariah,Makenzie and one
great grand: Aiden; three brothers: Tony Flowers and Willie Flowers of Lake City,
SC; John (Clara) Flowers of Scranton, SC. A loyal daughter-in-law Victoria
Williamson. Ten sisters -in-laws, nine brothers-in-laws, a host of nieces,
nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews, several
relatives, and many dear friends. A special friend/sister-in-law Clara Flowers.
