Kay S Gamble

Kay Sandra Gamble was born December 19, 1953 to the late Lincoln and Eloise Barr Eaddy. She was educated in the public schools of Lake City, SC and in 1970 married the late Joseph Brown. Affectionately know to friends and family as “Retta”. Kay was employed with several sewing companies in the surrounding area. She really enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and crossword puzzles. Kay was very humble, kind hearted, and cared for all. Kay devoted her life to God at a very early age. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lincoln Eaddy Jr.; sisters: Pearlie Mae Eaddy, Gloria Ann Burgess, Essie Mae Burgess, and Audrey Ann Eaddy. Kay leaves to carry on her legacy: two brothers: Willie Benjamin Eaddy of Durham, NC and Isaiah Eaddy of Englewood, NJ; two half sisters: Sharon and Beverly Ransom of Kingstree, SC; one daughter, Tonia Marie Brown of Charlotte, NC; a nephew and niece she raised as her own: Sam McCray Jr. of Columbia, SC and Misherri Graham of Lake City, SC; one granddaughter, Shaniqua Keyara Brown of Columbia, SC; one grandson, Ajontae Jaquez Adams of Charlotte, NC; three great grandchildren: Melaiya Gamble, Ah’Zaria and Madison Carson of Columbia, Sc; two nieces that she considered daughters: Michelle and Patricia Burgess of Nework, NJ; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friend
