Kenneth Jay Graham was the son of the late Manning Graham, Sr., and the late Edna
Earl Gaskins Graham. He was also the sone of the late Pearlie Ann Fulmore Graham.
He was born on December 25, 1955, and departed this life on August 9,, 2021, at the
home of his nephew.
He was educated in the public schools of Florence County and was a 1973 graduate of
Lake City High School. After completing high school, he joined the U. S. Army, and trained in
Korea during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Graham joined Greater Saint James AME Church at an early age and accepted Jesus
Christ as his personal Savior. He loved the Lord and supported the church with his presence
and finances. He was loved by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Joe Graham Burgess, and two brothers:
Manning Graham, Jr., and Earl Thomas Graham.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a brother, Edward (Martha) Graham; two aunts:
Elease Gaskins and Rowena Fulmore, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two nieces, Odette (Anthony)
Baynard, of Rock Hill, SC, and Olivia Graham, of Kingstree, SC; three nephews, Lydell (Misty)
Burgess, of Moreno Valley, CA; O’Manning Graham, of Kingstree, SC; and Leon Burgess, of the
home; Elizabeth “Anna Marie” Graham; the McLeod Hospice Care Team: Mrs. Heather
Matthews, Ms. Cynthia Fulton, and Mr. Jake Sanderson; and many other relatives and friends.
