Ottis Winston Graham, age 75, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, in Florence SC. Born April 23,
1947, in Council, NC, he was the son of Berline Peterson Graham and the late Ottis Edward Graham. He
was a graduate of the East Arcadia High School Class of 1965 and earned an Associates degree from
Bladen Community College. He served over 10 years in the United States Army in Vietnam, Brussels
Belgium and at the United States Military Academy in West Point NY. After service, he worked for many
years at the Corning Optical Fibers plant in Wilmington. He was a lifelong member of Tabernacle
Holiness Church in Riegelwood, NC and was an ordained minister in the Believers Holiness Conference.
He served as pastor of Beulah Holiness Church in Johnsonville, SC and at St. Luke Holiness Church in
Cheraw, SC. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings Clifford Graham, Hortense
Graham Neal, Bradie Lucas, and Sherman Graham. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Gathers Graham of
Florence SC; two children: Latoya (Robert) Brown of Gibsonville, NC and Tamitra Gathers of Raleigh, NC;
three grandchildren: Aiyahna Nishelle Edwards of Oxford, NC, Zorayah Camille Resper “Zoey” of
Greensboro, NC, and Chloe Cymone Brown of Gibsonville, NC. He is also survived by his mother, Elder
Berline Peterson Graham of Riegelwood, NC and siblings Jerry (Annabell) Graham of Council, NC,
Quessie Peterson, Luella (Lawrence) Wills of Riegelwood, NC, and Elder Dr. Pearly Graham-Hoskins of
Elizabethtown, NC; brothers and sisters-in-law Odessa Graham of Council, NC, Evangelist Lenovia
Gathers, Clara Burgess, Jacklyn Burgess, Jacob (Linda) Gathers, and Charles (Rena) Harrison of Lake City,
SC, Annie (Matthew) Mason, Judy (Elder James) Gordon, and Abraham Gathers of Florence, SC, Bernice
Stone of Brooklyn, NY, Hazel (Joseph) Graham of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Dorothy Gathers of Dania
Beach, FL; godchildren Renota Washington of Lake City, SC and Jarodd Webb of Fort Mill, SC, and a host
of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at the Believers Conference
Center in Coward, SC on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11 am followed by burial in the National
Cemetery in Florence, SC.
