Pearlie Mae Gaskins Fulmore departed this earthly life on
Monday, November 8, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center of
Columbia, SC after a brief illness.
Pearl as she was affectionately called, was born February 23,
1952. She was the daughter of the late George Ray and Lillian
Rush Gaskins. Pearl attented the public schools of Florence
County.
She was employed by Lake City Country Club and Prossers
Restaurant doing what she loved which was cooking.
Pearl was joined in holy matrimony to Bobby Fulmore and this
union was blessed with two children.
Pearl was preceded in death by: her parents; 4 brothers: George,
James, Leroy, and Glen Gaskins; 3 sisters: Annie Bell Gaskins,
Clara Mae Gaskins and Eva Mae Gaskins McGill.
Pearl leaves to cherish her memory: a husband, Bobby
Fulmore; a son, Eric L. Fulmore of Florence, SC; daughter, Jessica
N. Fulmore of Coumbia, SC; two grandsons: Brian Capers and
Rayshawn Fulmore of Columbia, SC; Pearl raised Rayshawn like
her own son; Rayshawn loved his grandmother and took care
of her like a caregiver at heart; two sisters: Dessie L. Graham of
New Port News, VA and Mary (Franklin) Singletary of Lake City,
SC; two sisters-in-law: Loretta Gaskins and Deloris Burgess of
Lake City, SC; one brother-in-law, Hubert Fulmore Jr.; a special
cousin, Mariah Chatman of Greeleyville, SC; and a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
