Verdell Fowler Obituary

Verdell Fowler an Evangelist of the gospel was called home to be with the lord on Sunday
March 5, 2023 @ 6:40am. She was the daughter of the late Booker T. and Bertha Mae Fulmore
of Lake City, S.C.
Mother Fowler was a high school graduate of the Lake City public school system.
She was married to the late Jimmy Lee Fowler Sr. early in childhood. They were blessed with 6
beautiful children.
Mother Fowler was an Evangelist in the field of the gospel. She was a God fearing woman;
loving God with all her being. She devoted her true love and spirit to pleasing God and allowing
nothing to separate her from the Love of God. She loved to share the gospel of the Lord with
everyone, no one was exempt. For God she lived, and for God she died!
Mother Fowler also had the privilege for many years to work in the healthcare field, in which she
was able to retire from after working 30 plus years. She was also a devoted member of St.
Matthews Apostolic Church Of Jesus Christ in Florence S.C.
Mother Fowler leaves to mourn 3 sons, Jimmy Lee Fowler Jr of Columbia S.C., and Jimmy Lee
Fowler III of the home and the late Stanley Fowler; 3 daughters Ceilsonya Ann Fowler of
Baltimore M.D., and Angela Fowler of Dover D.E. and the late Jenifer Denise Fowler. 2 brothers;

She also leaves to mourn 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren Jimmoria Tucker of Atlanta
G.A., Demetric Tucker (father of Neveah Tucker) of Jacksonville F.L. Danishala Tucker and
Antione Tucker (father of Ahmir Tucker) of Anderson S.C.
Mother Fowler has a big host of other family members, nieces, nephews, cousins adopted
daughters and sons and exceptionally great friends and prayer partners too numerous to name.
Your support will forever be appreciated! She loved each and everyone of us and she would
want us all to continue to pray, be strong and get as close as we can to God so we can see her
again when it is our time. Thank you everyone and know that God has his Angel back, and that
she will be watching over us all!
